Things you don’t know about Jordin Sparks: Jordin Sparks auditioned for both American Juniors and Star Search in 2003 and appeared on America’s Most Talented Kids twice in 2004, winning her first time. Jordin Sparks was one of only seven to be invited back for a special championship edition of the show. Jordin Sparks has also sung the national anthem at sporting events for the Phoenix Suns, the Arizona Cardinals, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. In addition, Jordin Sparks has toured twice with singer Michael W. Smith. In 2003, Jordin Sparks recorded an album entitled, “For Now.” Jordin Sparks has also won the “Arizona Idol” contest.

In case you don’t know much about Jordin, she is the daughter of former NFL football player, Phillippi Sparks, and wife Jodi Sparks. She has a younger brother named PJ (Phillippi Sparks, Jr.). As a daughter of an African American father and a white mother, she is biracial. She is managed by maternal grandmother Pam Wiedmann. Sparks is currently homeschooled. She is a fan of football, reading, and music. She also attends church. She has been singing since she was 18 months old.
